Notes Hanani-Zu'Mei is the Celestial Name given to her by Doviuun when she came of age. It is honorific name, reflecting the acts she has taken during her life.
Her energy wings, a deep, opalescent blue, are always glowing brightly even in the most unnatural of darkness. They can be used for flight, as well as blocking incoming attacks, be they powers or physical blows. Physical attacks on her wings can cause them to turn intangible, causing the attacker to phase through them and be momentarily caught in a slow time area. They'll move slower, making it appear as if time has stopped almost completely for them.
As a female, she had glowing Strands of Fate, instead of the typical black or white threads found among males. Her Fate threads are more attuned to her own essence than a male's would be. For this reason, she does not have to be too careful with them, or too gentle. They will not break, lengthen, or reattach unless she specifically wants them to. She wears several of these threads on her forelegs, hanging down from gold-silver bands.
She was born into the Serenity's Grace Pride, which was known for its odd traits. While not mutations, she does carry a couple traits for her parents. The same energy in her wings seems to bleed through the fur around her eyes. Her eyes themselves are mismatched - instead of being white, they glow with a yellow hue on the right and a blue hue on the left. Aside from the physical traits, she also inherited bloodline powers from her parents. Her Aeromancy allows her to affect and manipulate air currents.
Born and raised in the Inner Dimension, she grew up aware of the Shades and all that came with them. It was not until she hit late teenhood that it really began to strike her how much her Element was in danger. The number of Belief Kats was slowly dying off as the Shades seemed to pick them off one by one as they passed beyond the Border. It became a terrifying reality for them when the majority of Belief Kat Slayers were actually Sealed in by the Angelics to keep their Element from being assimilated by the Shades completely. The parasites used in Blood-Marking now served to trap the Belief Kats within the confines of the Border, taking many away from the fight and unsettling the Element as a whole. At present, there are maybe less than twenty Belief Kats still in existence.
Since she herself could no longer become a Slayer, she began to keep company with what most Wilds refer to as 'Keepers' or 'Slavers'. These were individuals that, instead of fighting actively against the threats of the world, would go out, bring back the remains of downed Slayers, and then force them to become Energies. Most of them were so thirsty for knowledge that many of the Energies were brought back to the physical realm against their wishes. Their insatiable appetite makes them appear, at times, worse than the Shades. She never became one of them. Rather, the only reason she hung around with any of them was to find out if it was true that her Element was being hunted to extinction.
Only one Energy of her Element was ever brought back after the hunt began. A former Shade Warrior, he would not divulge his name or say anything of his life before death. The only thing he ever said to her was, "You'll be next, someday." Suffice to say, such words were enough to rattle her and cause her to leave the territories reserved for the Knowledge Keepers.
Since then, she's been wandering, probably trying to find something useful to do, or to try and find others of her Element. Her parents are missing, as are several of her Pride-siblings, and they are presumed dead.

NameZull
GenderMale
SpeciesNutavii
NotesZull has been bonded to Hanani since they were both younglings. He takes any damage she does, and vice versa, though he heals and regenerates just as swiftly as she does. One falling unconscious does not affect the other.
Nutavii are Wish Dimensional creatures sometimes refered to as a 'luck clouds'. They are small canines, roughly the size of a rabbit, with energy clouds in place of fur. They never open their eyes and have extraordinary hearing abilities due to their oversized ears. They are usually calm, though they become rattled and prone to growling and biting when danger is near. They are called lucky creatures, because they supposedly bring good luck to their Bondeds. Somehow, just being in the company of a Nutavii seems to protect others from wandering into dangers or harming themselves in a fall or attack.
Nutavii are said to be vicious mirrors of Fate when their Bonded is in mortal danger. It is rumored that a Nutavii is actually a servant of Doviuun, and that just like the Wish Dimensional God, they can grant wishes and alter fate, but can also turn rageful and twist fate into an evil mockery of itself. It is said that when a Nutavii is angered it will cause bad luck to befall those around it, even sometimes 'accidental death', apparently caused by an everyday thing.
There was once a Miracle Kat who swore he was cursed by a Nutavii because he insulted its Bonded, and ever since the Miracle had had nothing but bad luck.
