Kuromaruu wears an amulet with four stone pieces, each tuned to one of the primary elements - earth, air, water, and fire. Each grants him a different power, as well as the corresponding immunity to elemental abilities. The water stone allows him to breath underwater. The fire stone allows him to create and control small fires. The earth stone allows him to call forth vines strong enough to hold an enemy, which can only be shredded through attack abilities like fire waves or ice spears. The air stone allows him to control wind, which can be used to force a wave attack back at its creator.
His forearm band is made from gold and dyed in some places with blue. Hanging from the side is a silver hawk emblem, which is actually a summoning amulet in disguise. It can be activated by tugging the pendant and removing it from the band it is tied to. The hawk will then proceed to morph into whatever Kuromaruu wants it to, whether it be a lifesize falcon made of silver, weapon, or something else. |
