Marianel has a set of insect-like wings, a trait that's found on Plague Dimensionals, and inherited from her Grandfather Saruuko. They're fully flight capable, as when they're in use they summon the aid of air currents which make achieving flight easy. The bottom set of wings are made of icy-essence which, when she was a cub, likely froze anything they touched, but she can now control that. The jewelery she wears was given to her by her Father, who gave a similiar item of jewelry to Tellear.
Her power of Prophetic Sight is a Seer-trait that causes her, at random times, to go into a sort of trance that lasts anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. It allows her to see glimpses of possible futures that can happen from the different choices she, or someone she is near, will make in the future. Sometimes these visions are violent, other times they're not. Sometimes it's simply a vision of someone entering into Slayer Training, or crossing the Border for the first time. Other times it might be something more vivid, and dangerous. Her Time Freeze power lasts as long as she can hold her breath and concentrate on it. As she is a descendant of Kyuuma, that means she's also related to Shiriza and Saruuko; Executioner Instructors at the Guardian's Peaks. Shiriza is the instructor for the Healer classes, while Saruuko teaches Elemental Control. Descended from two Whispers Of Rekura, Marianel is a Born WoR. This means she has an IriKan, or an inner guardian, of her own but has no physical elemental manifestation. |
